Herculaneum
Herculaneum is an ancient Roman town preserved even more vividly than Pompeii, buried by the same Vesuvius eruption and located on the Bay of Naples.
While Pompeii draws the largest crowds, Herculaneum (Ercolano) is arguably the more astonishing site. Buried under up to 20 metres of volcanic material, it was preserved in extraordinary detail — wooden furniture, food, and even organic matter survived. The excavated site is smaller and easier to manage than Pompeii, making it ideal for a half-day visit. Our private transfers serve Herculaneum from all major regional hubs, with flexible pickup times to suit your itinerary.
